Traveling can seem like a bit of a tricky business at times. With all that planning and careful budgeting, it can sometimes be a little daunting - and that's before you've even set off! So to help lessen the burden a little, we've put together a handful of hints and top travel tips to help you on your way.
Here are some tips on keeping your travel experience as healthy as possible :
Carry your passport and important travel documents at all times.
Carry attested Photostat copies of travel documents in person and keep the originals safely.
You should buy air / rail or travel tickets from an authorized persons.
Try to keep your wallet and valuables safely secured in a handbag or in one of your hand luggage.
Avoid tap water, and any food that may have been washed in it, at all times. No ice, no salads and no fruit you haven't just peeled yourself.
Never leave valuables in soft/material bags with pockets even if they are padlocked like Alcatrass, this avoids any potential of somebody simply splitting a seam to a pocket with a knife and removing select contents.

Take care when choosing your hotel and transportation providers and avoid traveling alone.
Make sure their mileage policy is favorable to you so you can avoid extra charges.
If your child is traveling alone, you should write all the numbers that would be helpful for the child on a note, or in a little date book for when she/he arrives at the final destination.
Animals can very well suffer jet lag. Basically, it works the same as it does with humans. Keep your pets active and in the sunlight, keep habits the same, and don't allow them to oversleep.
